It's the same as the comic issues found on this page further down, but all collected into one book without the ads in it. I'm kind of a completionist collector so that's part of the reason I picked this one up too. Plus, no ads in your reading is always nice.

I picked this up the same day I picked up inFAMOUS 2. I mostly got it because it said it had some bonus artwork in the back and I loved that about the other strategy guide. I actually haven't looked through it all that much just yet, because I wanted to avoid spoilers for the next game, but thumbing through it it seems like your standard strategy guide. Well, except for the bonus artwork in the back. :)

The mini-comic included with the Hero Edition version of the game. It really is a lot smaller than the other standard issues, as I have pictured here. It's pretty cool though because it also has an alternate cover.

Funny thing about this strategy guide. I actually ended up with two of them, but they both have slight differences at least on the cover. I didn't take any comparison pictures yet because when I'd noticed it was already after I'd taken the photos. But otherwise they're almost the same! I got it mostly for the artwork in the back.

This book is so cool! I randomly stumbled across it on eBay. The description didn't tell me much about it, and the auction picture was just the cover and one random picture from inside it. However, it did say it was full color and forty pages long, so I took a chance and bought it.
I didn't regret it. This is by far one of my most favorite things I have. It's really freaking cool and goes into such detail about the characters, factions and even Cole's powers.
I actually found out through some digging on the internet this was a press kit they used in the US to promote the game. The auction didn't say anything about it being a press kit or anything, which probably explains why I got it so cheap. It's still super awesome and I'm very happy I managed to get one.

The inFAMOUS comic, in print. I somehow managed to end up with two of these. One of them I got in the IGN for Haiti auctions in early 2010, and the other I'm not sure I totally remember now. I think I got it along with the Press Kit. I'm still kind of disappointed the printed version of the comic isn't the entire comic, but it's still cool none-the-less! And yes, they're both signed too.

This isn't what I'd call an official art book, as it doesn't have that many pages. I think this was a promotional item distributed in Europe. The back of it has an advertisement for the European Special Edition as well as the standard game. It does have a few more pictures than the one that came with said special edition, and it's also slightly bigger.
|
This came with the European Special Edition copy of the game. It's very similar in content with the book above, but with a few less images and it's a bit smaller. It's still pretty neat though.

I believe this was the magazine that first debuted inFAMOUS. I think my favorite thing about this magazine is that it calls Cole "Dylan" for the entire thing. It's hard to think that he had a different name at one point. Haha. Also I wanted to add that this was a gift from my buddy Fisk from LiveJournal. :D Thanks!
|
Okay, this isn't really all that special but I really needed to include it here anyway! This was the first reveal of inFAMOUS 2, after all. The first pictures of the Cole that will never be, as well as the first couple of game highlights and stuff. Also I just wanted to say that I was given this copy by a random gamestop employee. COOL RIGHT!? it's like he knew...

Somehow an international magazine made its way into my collection. Also NO, I'm not interested in buying every single magazine that mentions inFAMOUS. Maybe if its a cover story, but it'll get way too expensive to buy all of them (and the room lol) But I have this so I might as well add it, right? This magazine kind of makes me sadface though because it constantly questions Zeke's purpose and stuff. DON'T YOU BE HATIN, MAGAZINE EDITOR. Anyway it has some cool art. The cover in particular has the older inFAMOUS 2 Cole design, but his eyes are so super blue its kind of awesome.
|
I had to buy this twice because the first copy I had purchased got stolen. :D OOPS. Anyway this is the first magazine appearence for the new-new Cole for inFAMOUS 2. It also releases a bit more information about the game and talks about a new character breifly. It's got some nice artwork too.
